As we approach the end of a record year here at Universally Speaking, we would like to take a moment to reflect.
This year we have worked on over 1300 projects (including 60+ games), provided quality translations of over 10,000,000 words, cracked over 8000 bugs and won 2 top flight industry awards. We could not have achieved this without our amazing clients and, of course, our incredible QA, localisation and audio teams. We look forward to taking these numbers ever-higher in 2018!
Our record year has not gone unrecognised within the industry, with 5 award nominations and 2 wins. We were humbled to be awarded with Best QA & Localisation at the Develop: Industry Excellence Awards, and honoured to receive Best QA Provider for the third time in five years at the TIGA Awards. 2018 already looks like another award-winning year at US, as we have fingers and toes (and everything else!) crossed for our Best QA & Localisation Service Provider nomination at the Mobile Game Awards, next month.
We’ve been out and about a lot this year, too, spreading the word on what Universally Speaking is all about. We started the year in London at PGConnects, dropped into GDC in San Francisco, before heading to Cologne for Gamescom. We met some amazing people in Kraków, Helsinki and Paris along the way until we rounded things off in sunny Santa Clara. If you see us on your travels, next year, come and say hello!
2017 has been a great year for us at Universally Speaking, and we hope it has been even better for all the developers, publishers and companies we have been honoured to work with, this year.
