Universally Speaking returns from GDC and GameConnection America

After a super busy week in San Francisco, we are back in the office full of jetlag and lots of meeting notes. Between our 80+ meetings, the parties and the GDC Expo, we are going to be in recovery for a little while!

Jokes aside, San Francisco put on once again a great show. GameConnection made things easier and harder at the same time (the move to the Metreon as a venue was fantastic, while the extension to four days meant a lot more meetings!). The Expo at GDC was brilliant, as always, but this year we have to highlight the presence of the various VR stands. A lot of people were interested and queueing for a long time in order to have a chance to experience what VR in its various forms will bring in the next months/years.

But let’s not forget the parties! Zynga’s fantastic happy hour, PocketGems GDCompression, the Microsoft party, Steam party, Nvidia party… they were all fantastic and contributed greatly to the general enjoyment and the exhaustion that will still follow us for the next few days.

Now it is time to catch up with all the correspondence waiting in our various inboxes and crack on with helping our clients (and hopefully new customers) projects.

See you again next year!
